Worth A Read

Okay guys not an entirely appropriate post (it may be better suited to Facebook or Twitter) but I thought that this was worth a read for all you Ubuntu or Fedora Fans. I must advise you now that some people may find this offensive as there is a little bit of swearing in it- Linus Torvalds’ views on OpenBSD.

One bit of software I use all the time is called Bluefish. Bluefish is an HTML editor for part-time or experienced web designers. “It includes nice wizards for inserting images and linking thumbnails with the original image.” to quote the developer.

The Best Linux Communities

Linux has, by far, the best communities of developers, designers and users. There are many different forums for the specific Linux distros such as Fedora, Linux Mint or Ubuntu. From my experience the best forums (Most Active)  forums are the ones over at Ubuntu and Fedora (link in the name) with a number of professionals and amateurs alike all willing to give answers to your questions or if you need somebodies view on your site or blog.

Some Awesome Gaming

Now Mac and Linux are often criticized for the lack of good games available under the two platforms compared to Windows. Perhaps Mac is moving in the right direction towards native big budget games however, Linux is not. We may have WINE ,which is something I will do a feature on, but it doesn’t replace the real game.
