Would you mind posting HD resolutions of these images?
they are nice wallpapers but the images are thumbnail size (128*96px)
I’ll try and find the HD however I’m not sure what happened about the image size. If you need them in a specific size just send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or on Skype- I’m sandy.mccallum or just reply here.
Hope this helps
P.S. If you want the images quickly subscribe to the blog with your email and I’ll send them through
I agree – by the time they’re blown up big enough to use as wallpaper, they get all jagged edge. If for regular screens (4:3) 1280×1024 is a good size; if for widescreen (16:9), 1366×768 is good… people with higher resolutions (e.g. 1600×1200 or 1920×1080) can choose ‘Stretch’ and those sizes should fill their screens without excessive jaggies.
If you have the full size files (I would guesstimate a size of around 20MB for 25 full size walls), you could make a page for the thumbs and create a torrent for the zip, list it on a few public trackers, then just give a link for the (12-16 KB, typical) torrent file on the thumbs page. You might need to upload it a couple times (i.e. allow a couple torrent users to download it from you), but then after that it should be readily available from multiple users. If they’re GNU licensed, there shouldn’t be any problem sharing them like that.
well, 1366×768 is good but I realy like my wallpapers to be 1:1 desktop resolution (1920×1080)..
sry, but I’m an HD junkie 😉
